ACT FAST: Sponsorship Spots Still Available for the 2010 Paul W. Smith Golf Classic

The seventh annual Paul W. Smith Golf Classic, benefiting Think Detroit PAL, connects Detroit area businesses with the largest nonprofit youth organization in the city. Take this opportunity to support Detroit’s youth and register today. View the available sponsorship spots in the Sponsorship Packages tab. The sponsorship deadline is June 30, 2010.

The Paul W. Smith Golf Classic is the largest fundraiser, benefiting Think Detroit PAL. Paul W. Smith is the event chairperson and News/Talk 760 WJR is the title sponsor. Ford Motor Company, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Compuware Corporation and Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. Inc., return as long-time presenting sponsors. PNC Financial Services joins as a presenting sponsor for the first time.

Sponsors will receive ample recognition for their support through promotion on News/Talk WJR and the tournament website, www.paulwsmithgolf.com. The tournament is a best-ball scramble format and features contests, such as Longest Drive, Longest Putt, Closest-to-the-Pin and Hole-in-One. Think Detroit PAL provides character enriching opportunities in athletic, academic and leadership development programs to 12,000 Detroit youth. The tournament has raised more than $2 million in net funds, since the inaugural event in 2004.
